The first is that you always write sincerely, not thinking about sales or affiliate links, but about what you want to convey to your readers. It is attributed to a great writer, Oscar Wilde, the quote "Be yourself; everyone else is already taken". If you try to write like someone else or at every moment you try to insert a commercial link because you have read a book about "how to become a millionaire with passive income" you won't get anywhere. People don't want to read commercial catalogs, but authentic books that give them ideas, solutions, and guidance on their problems. Write honestly, trying to help your readers with what you've learned, and the result will be excellent.

The second advice is to be humble. You don't write as well as you think and no matter how much practice you have there is always something that can be improved. Stephen King says in his book "On Writing" that between the first draft and the final text you should be able to cut up to a third. It seems a bit exaggerated at first, but I probably trim, revise, or modify that volume of text without problems in my books. Look for two or three friends you really trust, who won't flatter you with their comments, and ask them to read your draft honestly, noting down all the issues. Don't criticize them or explain why they're wrong. They are your readers, and if they haven't understood your ideas, the problem is yours.

And the third thing is "practice, practice, practice", both reading and writing. We are formed by reading to others and we reach perfection by non-stop practicing. When I started more than 20 years ago, writing in computer magazines, writing a one- or two-page article was a considerable effort but after a few years I ended up writing 15 to 20-page reports without problems. It's not that I was a talented writer or not, but after 10 years of practice, you end up gaining skill in your job.(less)
