When it becomes difficult, I have to put more thought into what I am writing. And since what I write can be rewritten, or even deleted, the point is that I have been able to work through the block. I might add that sometimes a person is simply physically or mentally exhausted, and perhaps it might be wise to skip a day from writing to get recharged. (less)

Destination Amsterdam: Flower Power

On a recent trip to Amsterdam, I ventured outside the city to explore two places that showcase the beauty the Netherlands is known for worldwide: flowers.
I toured Royal FloraHolland, in Aalsmeer, the largest marketplace for flowers in the world, and spent several hours at Keukenhof Gardens, in Lisse, known as the "Garden of Europe."

A clever novel about friends and rivals and a ghost from the past. McEwan weaves a page-turner, for the most part, with a bit of humor and mystery, along with a touch of paranoia and scheming scoundrels. And it ends with an unexpected twist.

Michael Thanks, Lara. Actually, there are several authors out there such as Richard Ford and Anne Tyler. But I hope that readers of all adult ages can relate to my "boomer lit" novels.
