Kristi Ellsworth Quist was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona. As the daughter of a librarian and an English teacher, she has been writing since childhood. She was a theatre technician and taught deaf and hard-of-hearing children in the public school system. Now, she is a full-time homemaker focused on raising her children. She loves fairytales, myths, folklores, and believes the southern magnolia bloom is the most beautiful flower.
