It doesn't take long to recognize that this is a Sherlock Holmes detective story where Watson is in love with Holmes and Holmes is ... fond of Watson. That's fine, but there's really no grounding or development of "Watson's" feelings for "Holmes"; they're just there, which leaves me feeling like something's missing.
