very enjoyable Always look forward to her novels and this one does not disappoint. Though I did have trouble keeping the boys in the band individuated. |

very enjoyable romance with a mystery It took me awhile to get into this and I was scorning it and rolling my eyes halfway through at the predictability of the love triangle plot. But it took off about halfway through, became a real page turner. Don’t ...more |

not so much my kind of book Too much pathos, indirection, hopelessness. Although I very much liked The Hare, which definitely shares some of the same themes and stylistic features, but feels a little less rudderless. |

very enjoyable read Kind of like Ursula LeGuin and Andy Weir had a baby … interesting world building challenging norms of gender, property, language. Romance plot drawn forward by a series of technical crises. Humorous, very likable main characters. |
