K.E. Boyer worked as a small-business consultant for twenty years, offering marketing and technology services to numerous clients. Then from 2000 to 2005 she published the interactive e-magazine Raspberry Xpress, which focused on Canadian politics, including the impact American politics had on Canada. Over the years several of her irreverent weekly lead editorials were picked up by reputable political websites in Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom; and in 2004, the magazine won a Canadian website of the year award for quality of writing and content.

A wife and mother, Boyer currently resides in Ottawa, Canada, where she writes children’s fantasy novels.
