Evadeen Brickwood grew up in Germany and studied cultural sciences and languages. The newly qualified translator moved to Africa in 1988 and worked for two years in Botswana as a teacher and translator.
She settled in South Africa, studied and worked as a software trainer, started her own communications training company and taught at WITS University.
She began writing youth novels in the ‘Remember the Future’ series about time travel in 2003 and "Children of the Moon" was published in 2005 and 2007 in South Africa. This book has been translated into German under the name "Kinder des Mondes" and the sequel followed shortly after.
The author writes novels in English and German and has been a member of PEN since 2006.
