Betsy ... I hope you will check out my newest novel, SAME ROAD, DIFFERENT PATHS by Michael E. Petrie, based on a journal I began keeping in my teens growing up in the Chicago suburbs. The story will take you from once upon a time in America to right now ... with adventures chronicled in real time of hitchhiking across the Great American Southwest, living on a Navajo Reservation, rodeo cowboys, California's 70s music scene, falling in and out of love, marriage & family.
Thank you, Betsy, for the invitation! Looking forward to getting to know you and reading your work. Blessings,
Deb
Glad to see so many people accepting my friend invites. Thank you one and all. So great to belong to such a supportive group of writers and readers...
C.J. HeckHello Betsy,
It's such a pleasure having you for a friend. I am looking forward to reading your work! Thank you and best wishes to you.

Okay, what is my kitty doing on your web site??? We share fawn-colored kitties and keyboards frequently covered with fur and pawprints.
Hi Betsy,Thank you for the friend invite. I am always eager to meet new people, especially ones that love cats. You should check out the page on my website by my cat. She is a very amusing writer. ;)

I did so by limited the sites where I'd participate: FB, Goodreads, LinkedIn and Twitter, although I don't really think I use Twitter to its advantage. Glad I jump-started you to get more involved with Goodreads. I'll check out your author page.Betsy
Betsy, thanks for the friend invite on Goodreads. I have been shamefully lacking in participating on Goodreads despite the fact I knew I should have been on it. I tried to put my first book on there but then I lapsed. I've self pubbed three novels since then under two names but I've restrictd my marketing to the readers I already have emails for. I've talked to writers who have used goodreads correctly, so I know what I shoudl be doing. But I've had a hard enough time just writing what i've written and there's so much more I want to do. I keep promising myself I'm going to spend a few days just diving into goodreads and updating my info. Your invite served as a reminder. thanx. and I hope your writing efforts have been as much fun, and more successful, than mine have been.bill marden
