Mark was born in 1963, the third of five children. He grew up in Travelers Rest South Carolina, where he attended The First Baptist Church. On Feb. 22, 1981 his life was forever changed by the redeeming love of his new savior and Lord, Jesus Christ. From that day forward Mark has had an undying passion to make the name of Jesus known to all the world. He graduated from Southern Baptist seminary in 1990 with his wife Mary, and both were ordained into the ministry in 1991.They and their four children have been serving the Lord in the mountains of Breathitt County Ky. ever since. This statement might just be among the most anti-religious things Jesus is recorded to have ever said. In one sentence, Our Lord turns over the tables of our religious presumptions and drives out the money changers of self made religion.
