There are many ways of how the main character changed. The character changed in two ways. First, he gained in maturity. In the beginning of the novel, Sig, the main character was still a little boy. When the years passed and his fathers dies, he is very mature about it. He doesn't panic and does what is right. He light up a fire and waits for his sister and step-mother to arrive with help. The second reason is that he became responsible. Sig knew exactly what he should do in critical cases like these. Therefore, these are two reasons why Sig changed during the course of my reading.

There are a numerous reasons why the setting is well chosen. The setting of this story is the Arctic. First, the Arctic is a place where there is usually no population. The beginning of the story is creepy with a stranger who knocks on the door of the cabin where Sig and his dead father are. The Arctic is a perfect place for this kind of suspense. Another reason is the time period. This story is told during the beginning of the 1900's. This was a long time ago and during those years, not a lot of death and suspicious things happened. Therefore, these are two reaons why the setting was well chosen.

There are constantly good rising actions in novels. There are two reasons why the rising action is creative in my novel. First, the rising action is "the hook". The rising action contains suspense and makes the reader want to read further more. Another reason is that the rising action talks about the past. There are some chapters in my novel that are based on the past of the family. It explains a lot of the questions we have in our mind and that we are asking our self. These are two reasons why the rising action is a creative one.

There are many reasons why the novel changed. First, a new character was introduced. The new character is named Wolff. He just came out of nowhere and threatened Sig. Wolff claimed gold that Sig's father had stolen from him. He is now with Sig by themselves in the cabin with Sig's father dead body. Another reason is that the suspense and action increased. The exact moment when Wolff entered the story, the novel became a thriller. Before Wolff was introduced, the novel was talking about the past of the family and flashbacks, now Wolff came in claiming some gold and Sig doesn't know what to do. The suspense increased and the envy to read more also increased.

There are many reasons why Wolff's appearance is beneficial to the story. The first reason is that it came at a critical moment of the story. The moment when Sig's sister and step-mother are away to get help, Wolff arrives. Wolff's arrival creates this thrill to the reader. Another reason is that Wolff helps the reader continue reading. The moment when the story starts to get boring, Wolff appears. He makes the reader want to read more. The reader wants to know more about the character and how he will change the story. Therefore, these are two reasons why Wolff is beneficial to the story.

There are two reasons why the title was very well chosen. The first reason is that the title describes very well the family story. Sig's father offered him a revolver for one of his birthdays. Sig learned how to use it and his father trained him if something bad happened. The revolver is hidden in a room in the cabin. Wolff also carries a revolver with him and won't hesitate to use it against Sig. Another reason is that it describes the whole childhood of Sig. It describes the first time he touched a revolver and the first moments of his men actions. It also describes the trust his father has toward Sig and how he respects him. Therefore, these are two reasons why the title is well chosen.

There are two reasons why the ending of the book was exactly what i expecting it to be. The first reason is that the author used the term foreshadowing. This term means to give clues about what will happen next. The author gave a lot of clues showing that Sig will try everything to get the revolver hidden in the storeroom and shoot Wolff. It would be more difficult because his sister was also captured by Wolff and if he attempted to get the revolver, he would risk his life and his sister's. Another reason is that the novel seemed to be very happy and joyful. While reading, i felt like reading a joyful story. The context of the story seemed as if there was going to be a happy ending. Sig already lost his father and mother, it would be really sad to see another person from his family die. Therefore, these are two reasons why the end of the novel was exactly what i expected.

There are two reasons why life/family is the theme of this novel. The first reason is that Sigs experience and knowledge helped him to escape from Wolff's game. Sig's father taught him a lot about what he should do in bad situations and Sig's mother taught him a lot about life itself. She taught him about the bible and how he should be a good person in life. Another reason is that family is the main topic is the novel. Sig lost his father and mother, but still lived and had his sister and his step-mother. They both helped him in life and helped him support the death of his parents. Anna, Sig's sister was older than him, so she was able to control herself and had to help her younger brother. These are two reasons why life/family is the theme of the novel.

There are many reasons why i would like to recomand you to read this novel. The first reason is that it is a life lesson. This story taught me to always listen to what my parents and family say and be happy of what i have. Everything that I learn will certainly be used at least once in my life and this is what happened to Sig. When his father taught him how to shoot, Sig didn't believe he would actually use it in real life and he actually does. The second reason is the style of the book. If you enjoy reading action, suspense, mystery, and emotional books, then you should read "Revolver". Therefore, these are two reasons why you should read this novel. ...more "
