A well written and very fun book. It's billed as historical fiction in the book I'm reading from but it seems like it could well be taking place at the time it was written, so I'm not tagging it as that. ...more

Despite Ross' reaction to having a woman around I enjoyed this book.

This one was a mixed bag. I found the beginning half of the book either boring or unbelievable.

The second half was better, and I got really engaged in the story.

I really enjoyed this book. For most of the book the chapters alternate between the focus of two main characters.

The world is beautifully portrayed and really makes me want to explore more of it.
