Stephi Cham is an editor and author. She writes primarily YA speculative fiction.
Stephi pursued writing throughout her childhood, actively keeping a personal journal, writing poetry every day and finding inspiration through daily reading. Her first few publications were two poems and a short essay. She authored six nonfiction biographical books on Asian-Americans under Capstone Press, and her writing has been published in Strange Horizons, Publishers Weekly, JAMA (Journal of the American Medical Association), and the Journal of Medical Humanities.
Today, Stephi remains a steadfast believer in pursuing her passions. She spends her time practicing, writing, and reading. She loves telling, creating, sharing, and listening to stories.

The idea of a love that develops so suddenly on Kezi's part (of lust at first sight) and, from Olus's side, of observing her throughout her childhood into her seventeenth year... it all just strikes me as a relationship too unbelievable. However, it' ...more

Thomas Merton
“Our job is to love others without stopping to inquire whether or not they are worthy. That is not our business and, in fact, it is nobody's business. What we are asked to do is to love, and this love itself will render both ourselves and our neighbors worthy.”
Thomas Merton

Ella Wheeler Wilcox
“Love lights more fires than hate extinguishes.”
Ella Wheeler Wilcox

Lemony Snicket
“When someone is crying, of course, the noble thing to do is to comfort them. But if someone is trying to hide their tears, it may also be noble to pretend you do not notice them.”
Lemony Snicket, Horseradish: Bitter Truths You Can't Avoid

Lloyd Alexander
“Child, child, do you not see? For each of us comes a time when we must be more than what we are.”
Lloyd Alexander, The Black Cauldron

Maggie Stiefvater
“If you can’t be unafraid, Henry said, be afraid and happy.”
Maggie Stiefvater, The Raven King
