Originally from Denmark, Lars H. Hoffmann has been living in Madrid, Spain since the turn of the millennium.

He specializes in hard science fiction grounded in well established science though he also explores other genres.

His stories have appeared in anthologies and magazines both online and in print. You can find Lars on his blog called Island of Stability or you can connect with him on his facebook page and Twitter

Companion piece: The Forgetting

I grew up reading many of the classic science fiction stories by authors such as Robert A. Heinlein, Ray Bradbury and my all-time favorite: Isaac Asimov. Asimov wrote straight forward stories with clear prose. The science fictional element was key to the story, not just part of the backdrop. The science was always pivotal for the plot.
