Whether I am writing in worship to Yahweh, writing down a revelation that He is giving me, or processing some things I am experiencing with Him, I haven't gone more than three days without writing in over a year. I also have great ideas for novels, but those are trickier to get out because I feel like I don't have the full package for most of my novels. I think a good novel needs a good plot, great character development, and a well-built world. I can usually manage two out of the three, but I know Holy Spirit will help me get those books out when the time is right (or write)! It will probably be in summer. Novel-writing takes more time than I have during the school year! (less)

Dr. Seuss
“You know you're in love when you can't fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams.”
Dr. Seuss

J.R.R. Tolkien
“We have come from God, and inevitably the myths woven by us, though they contain error, will also reflect a splintered fragment of the true light, the eternal truth that is with God. Indeed only by myth-making, only by becoming 'sub-creator' and inventing stories, can Man aspire to the state of perfection that he knew before the Fall. Our myths may be misguided, but they steer however shakily towards the true harbour, while materialistic 'progress' leads only to a yawning abyss and the Iron Crown of the power of evil.”
J.R.R. Tolkien

C.S. Lewis
“Give me all of you!!! I don’t want so much of your time, so much of your talents and money, and so much of your work. I want YOU!!! ALL OF YOU!! I have not come to torment or frustrate the natural man or woman, but to KILL IT! No half measures will do. I don’t want to only prune a branch here and a branch there; rather I want the whole tree out! Hand it over to me, the whole outfit, all of your desires, all of your wants and wishes and dreams. Turn them ALL over to me, give yourself to me and I will make of you a new self---in my image. Give me yourself and in exchange I will give you Myself. My will, shall become your will. My heart, shall become your heart.”
C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity

C.S. Lewis
“Imagine yourself as a living house. God comes in to rebuild that house. At first, perhaps, you can understand what He is doing. He is getting the drains right and stopping the leaks in the roof and so on; you knew that those jobs needed doing and so you are not surprised. But presently He starts knocking the house about in a way that hurts abominably and does not seem to make any sense. What on earth is He up to? The explanation is that He is building quite a different house from the one you thought of - throwing out a new wing here, putting on an extra floor there, running up towers, making courtyards. You thought you were being made into a decent little cottage: but He is building a palace. He intends to come and live in it Himself.”
C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity

C.S. Lewis
“It would seem that Our Lord finds our desires not too strong, but too weak. We are half-hearted creatures, fooling about with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at the sea. We are far too easily pleased.”
C.S. Lewis, The Weight of Glory, and Other Addresses

J.S. Bailey Hi, Cassondra! I saw that you like to read Christian books, and wondered if you would be interested in reading my debut novel The Land Beyond the Portal when it comes out on July 12.

Have a great day!

Hello. Sorry I didn't reply to this sooner. I did not see this comment until now. Nor am I actually sure you'll receive this reply, as I'm not sure where it will show up!

I did read "Hamlet," but I haven't read it in five years or so. I would love to hear what you thought of it, and give you the views I remember having regarding this work. :)

Fatihah Hey Cassondra. I see that you have read Hamlet. Perhaps when we are done discussing Animal Farm, we can try to see our takes on Hamlet

thanks again for approving my friend request.
