Born and raised in Atlanta, Cathleen is a bona fide"Georgia Peach" with her feet firmly planted in the South. Playing on the lawn of Stone Mountain Park, beneath its famous carving, she grew up under the watchful eyes of Jefferson Davis, General Robert E. Lee and General Thomas J. "Stonewall" Jackson. Steeped in stories of the Civil War and the Old Antebellum South, she is passionate about the past, which has led to a fierce love of ghost stories and all things that go bump in the night.

Cathleen is a member of The Georgia Writers Association.

She currently resides in a small suburb just outside Atlanta, with her husband, three children, and two furbabies of the canine persuasion.
