I'm a regular guy from St. Louis, Missouri, USA.

I consider myself an Objectivist of the Ayn Rand school and that idealogy pervades my novels although they are set in a Sword and Sorcery realm.

I also am a moderate Libertarian in that I do think government needs to a play a role in society but that it should be limited in nature.

First Scene Comparison: Forsytes versus Count

It is not a perfect benchmark by which to judge a show, but I do think it worthwhile to make a first scene comparison between what I consider good shows and bad. Anyway, it was the first Sunday of new shows on PBS and whilst we, me and mom, eagerly watched both The Forsytes and the Count of Monte Cristo I noticed the stark contrast immediately.
