It was where they kept the rare books, vintage, out-of-print type of stuff, as well as fragile stuff.

Carmilla by J. Sheridan Le Fanu
"Honestly, I was loving this up until 70% but the last 30% was a let down. I understand it's a classic but the end failed to create an impact.
Now the best part is that it's a quick read and it's easy to understand, considering it's a classic.

More of Priyank's books…
Ruskin Bond
“Book readers are special people, and they will always turn to books as the ultimate pleasure. Those who do not read are the unfortunate ones. There's nothing wrong with them; but they are missing out on one of life's compensations and rewards. A great book is a friend that never lets you down. You can return to it again and again and the joy first derived from it will still be there.”
Ruskin Bond

Friedrich Nietzsche
“I am a forest, and a night of dark trees: but he who is not afraid of my darkness, will find banks full of roses under my cypresses.”
Friedrich Nietzsche, Thus Spoke Zarathustra

Thomas Hardy
“Happiness was but the occasional episode in a general drama of pain.”
Thomas Hardy, The Mayor of Casterbridge

Donna Tartt
“Beauty is rarely soft or consolatory. Quite the contrary. Genuine beauty is always quite alarming.”
Donna Tartt, The Secret History

Amal El-Mohtar
“One understands that one's life is about to irrevocably change by having embarked on the journey, by the rigorous of the journey itself, and by all the mysteries attendant on arrival”
Amal El-Mohtar, The River Has Roots
