I listened to this quiet little novella and enjoyed it. More a collection of vignettes across one man’s life in a simpler time, glimpses of hardship and grief and hope.

We got the cutest Moomins calendar, and I knew zero about the Moomins, so I was happy to find this little book. It’s an odd, uneasy world, but I love the art so much!

This was SO FUN! I listened to the audiobook, and the performer was just so good. I loved the nerdiness, the characters, the storyline - too much fun.
