I write zines and novels that have a unique mix of fantasy, humor and nihilism. I have participated in the National Novel Writing Month (50 thousand words in 30 days) since 2008 and have finished every year. I like to write books that I would actually want to read and my first rule: don't bore the reader.
My latest finished work is called the Times of Clouds and Sun which can be accessed via my Patreon.

"I just finished this short-ish book by Gary Shteyngart, my second book of his after “Our Country Friends”

I’d describe it as a cross between “Harriet, the Spy” and everything happening in the world tomorrow, or maybe today.

I really loved the protagoni" Read more of this review »

Most art thieves steal for money, or they steal a single piece of art…

But for Stephane Breitwieser, it was a compulsion…and you can only roll the dice so many times…

“The other night I lost consciousness. When I finally came to, it was morning. I spent the next 8 and a half hours doing things I didn’t really feel like doing, but was compelled to do anyway. (Evidentially I receive something known as “financial Compensation” for this.) Eventually I was allowed to return home, where I recovered from the ordeal. I’m just afraid of what happens tonight, if I lose consciousness again. I have this fear that somehow this will start the process all over again.”

“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of light, it was the season of darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair.”
Charles Dickens, A Tale of Two Cities

George Orwell, 1984
