I like to write books that I would actually want to read and my first rule: don't bore the reader.
My latest finished work is called the Times of Clouds and Sun which can be accessed via my Patreon.

It really sucks to be poor.
No matter how you may feel at any given moment, you are always at the mercy of conditions and whims of the investors and the faceless SHAREHOLDERS.
I believe the gig economy (convincing people they need a side hustle, bragging about how hard you work) is triumph over the human spirit, engineered by corpor Read more of this blog post »

So good. It's 2009. Two friends joined by a third wheel spend a few days in New York (they are all Canadian, btw) and the layers are added on when the one friend hooks up with the third wheel. It's painful and so honest, really liked this one. ...more

“The other night I lost consciousness. When I finally came to, it was morning. I spent the next 8 and a half hours doing things I didn’t really feel like doing, but was compelled to do anyway. (Evidentially I receive something known as “financial Compensation” for this.) Eventually I was allowed to return home, where I recovered from the ordeal. I’m just afraid of what happens tonight, if I lose consciousness again. I have this fear that somehow this will start the process all over again.”

“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of light, it was the season of darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair.”
Charles Dickens, A Tale of Two Cities

George Orwell, 1984
