I recently finished Elizabeth Haskell's Novel entitled North and South.

Wow! This is a classic with such an intelligent string of characters exhibited though the dialogue. It is a class warfare story set in England and revolves around the textile town of Milton for the most part. Very engaging if you love slow burning romances and storylines.
