So when she finds out that Nicholas is just as frustrated as she is, she does the most reasonable thing: go head to head in a literal war of who is going to cave first.

I still vividly remember how I felt when I finished this. It was a weird sense of satisfaction, contentment and an overwhelming desire for more. Prior to reading this, I had some sort of mini version of a reading slump where I just couldn't get immersed into any book I read. But this book?? This book not only brought me out of it but also left me with the worst hangover.

Naomi has to got one of the funniest and pettiest fmcs I've ever read and I love it!!! Her sense of humour is diabolical and everything about her screams drama. Nicholas, on the other hand, comes across as this perfect rich kid with a superiority complex but beneath all that gloss is the most sarcastic, stubborn and charmingly infuriating, golden retriever character.

You Deserve Each Other is a tender exploration of love's complexities following Naomi and Nicholas' journey to learning each other all over again. While their childish squabbles were initially annoying (but still hilarious), it was absolutely wholesome watching both of them grow as they learnt that love isn't just the buttery feelings but also communication, understanding and patience. Love, in all its forms, is woven throughout this book—the quiet moments, the intentionality and the selfless acts that speak volumes. It's not only in the grand gestures, it's also in the little things. Naomi and Nicholas went from being at each others necks to becoming the most endearingly chaotic duo.

There's so much more I would love to unpack about this book, the characters and their growth but going any further would ruin the experience for others.
Suffice it to say, You Deserve Each Other is perfect for anyone who loves romance, banter and literally crazy characters. You may or may not cry but you will definitely laugh and swoon. ...more "
