She is obsessed with delving into the darkness of the human mind, as well as Irish and Norse mythology, and all things romance.

She writes fast-paced stories, using ambiguity as a weapon to encourage readers to engage critically with her work.

A Kingdom of Beasts and Betrayal is James’s debut novel and will continue into a trilogy within the Aduro Kingdom Novel series where she depicts the stages of grief using a mix of fantasy, romance, and horror elements to embody the complexities of living.
