Eve falls, and the next morning she wakes up and tries to uncover what her mother was talking to and finds a mirror. A young man is in it with gray eyes. Her mother appears then, Eve is it supposed to be into this.

is 17% done with Sleep Like Death: Eve tries to get to have a birthday party, but her mother denies it. She goes with Huntress to check on Sir Gregory’s farm, and even Eve’s magic can’t slow the flax. They just have to control it until the end of the growing season, lest it choke their water supply. The Knight’s sentient castle is moving nearby, they see it.
