The author is a former schoolteacher and lives with his wife and action-challenged cat in New York State’s Adirondack Mountain Park. In a previous millennium, he received his English degree from St. Bonaventure University and his graduate degree in education from the State University of New York at Oswego. He is the author of the Pendale series, Beneath the Surface and Break with the Past. He has also published Disturbing the Dead and the newly released In the Adirondack Shadows.

A lover of noir, both on-screen and on the page, he is also a fan of smart-ass dialogue with a strong dose of dark humor. Who says despicable characters can’t show their funny sides?
