Bashir Ibrahim is a lecturer and author of Crime Fiction and Mysteries, Thrillers, and Fantasy. A key member of the ABU Creative Writers' Club, he has helped popularize the thriller genre in northern Nigeria. The print edition of his thriller, The Belligerent Art, has made a strong first impression; aclaimed in academic cycles for its originality and fearless exploration of complex themes. He also writes essays on uncertainty and is currently working on his next thriller, The 7 Hours.

When he is not in the classroom or his study writing, Bashir enjoys quiet moments, often watching his favorite TV shows with his cherished cat, Blessing.
