As a librarian and author, I believe in the power of reading. My inspiration arises from nature and the beauty and peace it can provide. I love to learn the history of places where I camp or hike. Pioneer women fascinate me as life was precarious and they had to understand nature to survive.

I volunteer at Red Rock Canyon and in the local schools providing literacy tutoring.
I'm working on a upper middle grade novel based on my grandmother's life.
