Linda writes "white-knuckle fiction"--FBI thrillers with a twist of faith--from her home in rural Virginia. She's had careers as a government worker, a stay-at-home mom, and a journalist. Her husband, Larry, worked at the FBI Academy for over 25 years. Together they have three grown children. When she's not writing, you can find her walking in the woods, at the beach or doing something with grandchildren. ...more

I have other books, but they're not in this same series, so no need to read them first.
Dread has two more books following ... "The Fear That Chases Me" and "When Evil Finds Us." I'm working on Book Four now. (less)

I don’t give many five-star reviews but this book kept me riveted from beginning to end. I found it edgy, suspenseful, authentic, and full of plot twists I never saw coming. I write K-9 suspense and I loved this book.

Loved the fist half; the second was deeply flawed. I tired of the author’s messsage and found a major plot thread unbelievable. Loved the main character and the elderly neighbor. A sweet book, for the most part.

"I truly enjoyed the sweet spirit of the hero and loved all the good he did. I appreciated all the good he inspired.
