I really recommend going through classics so that you can see the base for what we have now, but I also recommend reading widely and out of your genre comfort zone so that you get the learning experience of something new. I’m stepping away from some things I had.

What I love is spread across expanse,

And my thoughts fill more than one notepad.

Life and home are in multiple places,

“Time is passing quickly
Decreasing every day
And yet, “I’ll do it tomorrow”
Is all you ever say”
Molly McTernan, Poetic Surrender

“There's some good in this world, Mr. Frodo, and it's worth fighting for.”
J. R. R. Tolkien

“Faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens.”
J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring

“Writer's block — so what? Write something bad. Just throw it in the trash can when you're done, you're always improving. That kind of writing is like doing a bunch of push-ups. Every individual push-up is not the important thing. On Tuesday you're going to think, "Is it really important that I do it today?" No, but the collective impact is. If you write every day, you will improve.”
N.D. Wilson

“Not all those who wander are lost.”
J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring

“All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.”
J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring
