I self-published a biography, Flowers of Heaven, about a family member who commits suicide in 1942. It's a woman's story--an all too familiar one from the era when women had little agency, rights, or a voice.

Flowers of Heaven is Debbie's first self-published book, a captivating story and meticulously researched biography about a soon-to-be divorced wife and mother of two and the social circumstances of her era. A book that is as much about women’s roles and rights in mid-twentieth-century Canada as it is a family’s story of loss and love.
