Born and raised in a small town in western Wisconsin I enjoy the peace and quiet. Farmer’s daughter by upbringing turned caregiver out of necessity but also want, I spend most of my time helping wherever I can. I always had the dream of being an author and though things have not turned out as I had always dreamt I have not given up on that dream and one day I know I’ll fulfill it because chasing one’s dreams is what life is all about.

I've recently opened a store on Picfair showcasing some of my amateur photography for sale. I like to focus on nature and landscaping, seeing how light and shadows can create beauty of everyday things we tend to take for granted.

Mom, Why is Grandpa in a Wheelchair?
I've released a short children's book, Mom, Why is Grandpa in a Wheelchair? available in ebook(KU) & paperback on Amazon. I used drawings I've done and family photos to help tell the story of how I think it would have went had I needed to ask the question. Original Audiobook Review May 2025:
This entry in the Legends timeline is one that is more dark, definitely sadder but always brilliant. I hated to see what happens happen but no one is safe in the SW universe, both canon and non-canon. It's been ages

Couldn't think of a better way to start the new year. I didn't intend to actually finish this on New Year's Eve/Day(I started it about 12:30am so technically 1/1😉). I only planned to read a few pages as I was waiting for my laptop to do a restart but ...more

George R.R. Martin
“I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the fire that burns against the cold, the light that brings the dawn, the horn that wakes the sleepers, the shield that guards the realms of men.”
George R.R. Martin, A Clash of Kings

Josh Lanyon
“Rick said, "Is there some place we can go and talk?"
"You want to talk?," Keir raised an eyebrow. "I never thought I'd see the day."
"Nah, I want to tell you this joke I heard."
Keir nodded, patient. "Shoot."
"Two Irish cops walk into a bar. The first cop says..." Rick's voice dropped. He said gruffly, "I love you. Come home."
Keir managed to keep his voice steady. "What's the other cop say?"
The sweetness of Rick's smile was like a kick in his chest. "That's what I'm here to find out, boyo.”

“He scooped up Victoria practically before she hit the ground, well within the five-second rule. If she'd been a potato chip, he could have still eaten her. Not something I particularly wanted to contemplate.”
Josh Lanyon, All She Wrote

Josh Lanyon
“I hadn't liked him at first. He did sort of grow on you after a while. Like the cosmopolitans. Or maybe because of the cosmopolitans.”
Josh Lanyon, Mummy Dearest

Josh Lanyon
“He went through the cupboards, found the olive oil, and started upstairs again. He glanced down at the green and gold label and had to bite back a laugh at the words Extra Virgin.

That about summed it up.”
Josh Lanyon, Sort of Stranger Than Fiction
