His stories are often grounded in the Pacific Northwest and gravitate around relationships, religion, contemporary life, and touches of absurdity. He now lives in Portland, Oregon, and is constantly fascinated with the world.

An intriguing concept (or sets of concepts) bludgeoned into a slog of dense, pretentious rambling. Read Inferno or The Great Divorce instead.
