Eliot Jones was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, but has also called Las Vegas, NV, Washington state, and Dallas, TX home. He worked in the television, film, radio, and newspaper industries for a number of years before devoting his time to writing. When asked what drew him to turn his attention to writing, he responded by saying; "What I discovered from working in the media is writing is the backbone to everything. Bad writing can destroy even the best story, whereas good writing can elevate even the worst."

The way I work around this issue is by creating a bullet list before I begin that basically says, "this has to happen here, and this has to happen at this point", but I'm free to choose how I get from point A to point B, and if I can't seem to focus at that particular time, I just walk away and come back later renewed.(less)
