Writer's block for me is different than the traditional definition as I already know the complete story and how it will end, so I just need to make sure I move the plot along at a satisfactory pace without jumping too far ahead and then having to go back and fix plot holes.
The way I work around this issue is by creating a bullet list before I begin that basically says, "this has to happen here, and this has to happen at this point", but I'm free to choose how I get from point A to point B, and if I can't seem to focus at that particular time, I just walk away and come back later renewed.
