To Test or Not to Test: SAT/ACT Exams
It seems that for most top-tier schools, UC System excluded, the SAT/ACT “test-optional”
convention is here to stay.
At this point, there is no alternative test to take the place of these two exams. Moreover, this
past COVID-impacted admissions cycle demonstrated to the top-tier institutions just how
valuable the test-optional requirement could be to them.
