Melanie Breaux holds a B.F.A. in theater from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. After NYU, she spent four years in Los Angeles acting and attending fiction writing classes at UCLA before returning to Philadelphia to attend law school. Melanie lives in Philadelphia with her husband, daughter, and one very spoiled Puggle.

In her free time Melanie enjoys creating new recipes in the kitchen, renovating old fixer-up homes with her husband, exploring Philly’s diverse neighborhoods, reading, and watching movies of all genres. Melanie is an avid traveler, and packs her bags and boards a plane whenever she can. She has trekked to Japan, Cuba, Vietnam, India, and Kenya, among othe ...more

Guerilla Marketing and the Kindle Contest

I hope everyone on the East Coast stayed safe and dry during the massive Hurricane Sandy that swept through here yesterday. I spent the two days inside cooking and baking, cleaning, and just hanging out with the family. If nothing else, it forced us to spend some good quality time together.
