Shawn Muder is an eccentric author and artist from Central Texas. Having grown up in a rural area, he found himself outside the norm for the demographic of his home town since had an interest in heavy metal music, fantasy, science fiction, comic books and other hobbies one would consider 'geekish'. His interest in writing blossomed when his sister introduced him to the wonderful world of Dungeons and Dragons and all the creativity that comes with playing roleplaying games. This showed in his writing over the years with his heavy metal influence and experience at being overweight leading his work toward the darker side with a keen interest in literary villainy.

First Novel

Readers,

I am currently working on my first novel, which right now is at about 45,000 words, so it is a little over a third of the way finished. It will be centered around a particularly evil villain which I have played in many a D&D game as both a player and as a Dungeon Master. It will be on the mature side, so it's not really meant for children in any sense.
