Vale isn't immortal, but he is longer lived than your average human. If Bludmen can live to 300, I'm guessing Vale would hit 150, maybe, since he's half human. And as for Cherie... what happened to her is a reflection of the child sex trade, and her time there was a nightmare. In Wicked Ever After, I mention that she finally got her happily ever after, though. As a rape victim myself, I can't imagine a world in which women weren't weighed down by past abuse, but I also want to see them move past it and triumph on the other side, like I feel I did.(less)

Star Wars writers have a lot of freedom to tell our stories within the guidelines provided by our editors. We know what SW is trying to achieve, and it's our job to tell a story in that framework. There's an extensive pitching and outlining process to make sure everyone is happy with the direction of the book and that it doesn't interfere with or contradict other storylines. It's an organic and fun process where we rarely feel trapped or ramrodded. Hope that helps!(less)

Legally, you can’t write in these worlds and get paid for it, so the only way to officially write in your favorite IP sandbox is to get an invite.

But how?

First of all, writing IP isn’t about who loves the proper

“Dammit, woman! You're scent, your stupid bloody delicious scent lingering in every crevice of my body and my wardrobe, driving me nearly mad. Do you know what it's like to want something so badly, to have it so close, and still feel that it's out of your reach? Out of control?”

Liv Chanin Thanks for accepting my friend request! I've always only had three favorite fictional characters: Hannibal Lecter, Dolores Claiborne, and Lestat. I have officially added Criminy Stain to that list. He is absolutely delicious!

VampireNovelFan Thanks for friending, Delilah! And thanks for dropping by my blog the other day. I was totally not expecting that so it was a huge pleasant surprise! I can't wait until the giveaway is over so that I can talk about it with even more friends. You're doing a stellar job!

Oh and FYI, when you reply to comments made here on your profile, the other user won't receive an alert that you've posted. You have to post over on their profile comments for them to know. It's a weird Goodreads quirk that they have yet to fix.

I'm kind of a late adopter, as you can tell by my camera-less flip phone with collies as one of 4 available wallpapers. =) But if you're here, it must be cool.
