Brian L. Hanson is Associate Professor of History and Theology at Bethlehem College and Seminary in Minneapolis. He has a PhD in History from the University of St Andrews. He is also a professional musician and a published composer of choral anthems. His music is published by Choristers Guild and Concordia Publishing House. He was the recipient of the 2009 John Ness Beck Foundation prize for his anthem, Jesus, Lover of My Soul.
