As a teen I was convinced I'd be a writer; the stories flowed like water from a tap. But in my early 20s I lost my way, the dream of becoming an author drummed out of me by the pressures of every-day life. Instead of using those experiences as fuel I closed down, and forgot the joy of writing down the words. But it's never too late to remember. And there's no time like the present to pursue that dream I had as kid.
