My life in Eden Prairie, Minnesota revolves around my husband, three children, and a Bernese Mountain Dog named Delaunay. I've been a Technology Project Manager for more years than I'd like to admit, but stories are my passion. I have always been a voracious reader, lover of worlds, and a "werd nerd." My infatuation with well-developed characters sometimes rivals my relationships with real people. I spend my free time writing, networking with other writers, and occasionally camping "up-north." If you're from Minnesota, you'll get the reference along with "hot dish" and "grey-duck." If you're not from Minnesota, you probably don't want to ask. Note that I'm originally a Texan, and that just never leaves you!

With the snow this year, I kind of want to go back. :)

Best,

Mandy Celestine creates a smart, funny ride in the debut of her trilogy. I have to give it four stars for the sharp voice alone. Her voice is witty and fun, something I think most new adult readers would identify with well. If anyone (I’m thinking te ...more

OMGeez! What a crazy ride. A gritty romance, but such powerful characters. Loving this series and will be writing a more detailed review soon!

Kind of adorable

Ariel and Chase were a fun read. The premise was intriguing and made new want to know why a young woman would be so dead set on having a baby. Yet as I got into the book, the characters really pulled me through. And it was pretty swee

Neil Gaiman
“Start telling the stories that only you can tell, because there’ll always be better writers than you and there’ll always be smarter writers than you. There will always be people who are much better at doing this or doing that - but you are the only you.

Tarantino - you can criticize everything that Quentin does - but nobody writes Tarantino stuff like Tarantino. He is the best Tarantino writer there is, and that was actually the thing that people responded to - they’re going ‘this is an individual writing with his own point of view’.

There are better writers than me out there, there are smarter writers, there are people who can plot better - there are all those kinds of things, but there’s nobody who can write a Neil Gaiman story like I can.”
Neil Gaiman

Alice Munro
“I was amazed as people must be who are seized and kidnapped, and who realize that in the strange world of their captors they have a value absolutely unconnected with anything they know about themselves.”
Alice Munro, Lives of Girls and Women

Walt Whitman
“Afoot and lighthearted I take to the open road, healthy, free, the world before me.”
Walt Whitman

C. JoyBell C.
“Ends are not bad things, they just mean that something else is about to begin. And there are many things that don't really end, anyway, they just begin again in a new way. Ends are not bad and many ends aren't really an ending; some things are never-ending.”
C. JoyBell C.

“Courage doesn’t happen when you have all the answers. It happens when you are ready to face the questions you have been avoiding your whole life.”
