C.A. (Catherine Anne) Klug was raised in a heavily wooded neighbourhood in Ontario, so it is no surprise that most of her stories are set in/around forests. She wrote her first book at age 5 and never looked back. Her debut MG novel, "The Sought Six: The Sterling Cone" has been praised by Kirkus reviews as "a safe adventure packed with imagination" and that "like the Harry Potter books, the sparkle here comes from an abundance of magical ideas. Knock four times - Pawcombe awaits."

When not writing, which isn't often, Catherine enjoys horseback riding, most ball sports, enjoying a hot cup of coffee, and squealing delightedly at every dog she sees. ...more
