I am a huge Millhauser fan. I tried to get him to contribute to one of the anthologies I edited, but he told me he was busy with professor-stuff and was unable to contribute. Bummer.
Hey Forrest, thanks for the friend request. I see you've read The Knife Thrower and Other Stories - Dream of the Consortium and Paradise Park are two of my all-time favorite short stories.

Hi Forrest! Thank you for the request and the shout out! I read Brian Evenson's "Last Days" earlier this year and was raving about it on days. I think that i's severely underrated and that he should be much more widely known. I recommended it to all my friends on Goodreads. Definitely looking forward to seeing you around here and talking about books! If you can please tell mr. Evenson that his bok rocks!

I'm just here to enjoy some good books, share my thoughts on those books (well, and the bad ones, too), and hear what others have to say. I love this (virtual) place - hate seeing it polluted with promotional spammers, and there are a few of them out there.

Hi Forrest, y'know I couldn't even remember what rating I'd given Gardens of the Moon and had to look it up! It is low, true. It's been YEARS since I read it, I really don't remember it except that it was a bit slow and uneventful? especially for such a big book. But I've been thinking of re-reading it, hoping to like it better second time around and read more of the series.
