Donitello Tell me about it. I live at the Jersey shore, and I'm surrounded by these monstrosities.

Although they do match the merchandise in the local jewelry stores quite harmoniously....

YUCK!

message 53: by Donitello (new)

Donitello What's really ugly is that, with every item on this thread, someone originally looked at it and said, "Now THAT'S nice."

hymmm I do feel a little odd

message 83: by [deleted user] (new)

They're current! Look at this blog--who are these men discussing these issues? I don't know men like this:

http://asuitablewardrobe.dynend.com/2...

Reads with Scotch nope.. access denied, do not pass go, more suicide candidates.

message 85: by [deleted user] (new)

Oh, you can't see blogs? They're debating which fucking ugly burgundy shoes to wear with the pleated pants and whether or not the pleats are too bulgy and how flat front pants are for the young and trim and how suits don't look that great on muscular men, but they must press forward.

I actually don't know many people from the business world.

Reads with Scotch I don't think any self respecting man/woman would wear that. To me based on your account of what is being said I am going to assume these are not real men. Their those metro sexual types. Probably live some place trendy like Palm Springs or Miami...

message 87: by [deleted user] (new)

Yes, but would metrosexuals wear pleated khakis? Not in my schema.

message 88: by Malbadeen (new)

Malbadeen The most fascinating thing about these last few entries is that they were posted "3 hours and 2 minutes" ago. IS THAT RIGHT?! Sarah?! Were you REALLY up at 5:30 a.m. on a non-work day (or on any day for that matter)? or is there something I'm mis reading?

message 89: by [deleted user] (last edited Feb 27, 2009 08:52AM) (new)

Yeah, I have been getting up at 4 or 5 every day for a couple of weeks. I don't know why. I'm afraid it's because I'm old, but I'd prefer to think that I'm just going nuts or something.

message 90: by Malbadeen (new)

Malbadeen Speaking as someone that gets up somewhere between 4 - 6 everyday I can say this is an issue (old age or insanity?) that will never be resolved.
Dan also get's up early - lends more to the "insanity" argument, maybe- ?
_____ is in bed right now and I tried really, really, really hard to be a good sport and stay in bed with him for a while but after about 1/2 hour of me tossing and turning and flicking and flipping through books I got I couldn't take it and got up for good.
I'm supposed to wake him up at 10:00.
TEN o'clock!!! what the hell?! Do you know how much I can do before 10? starting with catching up on all the trivial bits of info that have been flying around in this club that will in no way, shape, or form affect me life.

message 91: by [deleted user] (new)

How late did you guys stay up?

What are you getting done? Please don't say data entry.

message 92: by Malbadeen (new)

Malbadeen I actually fell asleep pretty early - which of course caused an argument about why I don't like to spend time with him. which is I think is interesting because we could because we could be spending time together now if he weren't zzzzzzzzzing away in the next room. I suggested we walk some of the spring water trail. That was met with "oh you're so cute" laugh before he pulled the blanket up again.
He did fix my sink though - you gotta love that!

I'm hoping that Homer one is just done with Sharpie or something. PLEASE! Why don't I want a girl to be as gross and inane as the guys?

Not that a temporary Homer crotch isn't inane and gross.
