I'm looking for confirmation for a book: If You Ask Me for Option 4. Betty White is listed on the list provided but I am not sure if she would be considered a talk show host.

Laurie, sorry to butt in re: Betty White, but I'm a big fan of hers and she hosted a talk show in the 50s at the beginning of her TV career. I'm not sure if you're accepting former hosts for that task, but here's some info for you about her show.
