1. red From the Corner of His Eye
2. orange The Twelve
3. yellow The Color Purple
4. green Garden Spells
5. blue The City of Dreaming Books (Dreaming Books, #1)
6. indigo/violet Alone

Only three to go, but two of them have not arrived from Book depository yet. Still plenty of time left on this challenge - and plenty of other books to read!!!

Trina (trina88) Oh Phrynne I saw The Twelve in the store yesterday, but it's still a bit too expensive for me to buy. I hope you like it! I'm excited to get it eventually.

Sabina (ms_delirium) I've finally been able to read another for this challenge. I have been flat out with assessments and reading other books I haven't had listed for the challenge. I have exams coming up beginning of Nov, so after that I should be able to get through some more books listed here. =)

The Shadow Society by Marie Rutkoski ★★★

Too expensive in the shops for me too. That's why it is coming from the Book Depository. They at least charge reasonable prices although you do have to wait a bit.

It's worth the read, I hope you get a copy of it soon

Me too but since I am in the middle of The Name of the Wind with 397 pages to go and also listening to The Pillars of the Earth with about a million pages to go I am actually in no position to start another book anyway!

You really like the big books

Not always. I am really struggling with The Pillars of the Earth. I feel it is only a big book because the author uses ten words where one would do. I listen to it while I am walking my dog and if anyone is walking near me they will hear me muttering "oh for goodness sake get on with it".

Maggie Time for an update:
Yellow: The Te Of Piglet READ
Green: Labyrinth READ
Blue: A Candle for St. Jude READ
Purple: The Stonehenge Gate READ
Aussie New release: Bev Aisbett's new book "All of it" CURRENTLY READING
YA (Aussie 2012): Preloved READ
My reviews are posted for these books. I chose to start with some books I've had on my shelves for ages and was not too sure how I'd like them (but this was a great chance to read them and see).

Now I'm moving on to the books I'm really keen to read:
RED:
The Hospital by the River: A Story of Hope
ORANGE:
From a Persian Tea House: Travels in Old Iran
TBR:
Gone Viral: The Germs that Share Our Lives
SPRING COVER:
Empress Orchid
FRIEND"S LIST:
Daughters of Rome
TBR:
Empress of the Seven Hills

I'm currently reading for the Aussie New Release "All of it" by Bev Aisbett. I can't find this on Goodreads yet. Bev Aisbett has written many books on anxiety and depression - this is her story.

BUT I borrowed a few other books from the library yesterday and they look good too!

Hope you're all getting through your reading and enjoying what you find.

Great review! It's hard when a book is really built up, isn't it? I find the same with movies. I knew almost nothing of this book before I read it, and I think that helped a lot.
