Have any of my friends read this book?

Yes, a bit of a tearjerker but very enjoyable. Especially if you own or have owned a dog.

I love " a Dogs Purpose" and the sequel, "A Dogs Journey," they both are great dog books. I also agree with Kathy, the Chet and Bernie Mysteries are in a class of their own, fun, nail biting, crime fighting detective duo, I hope Spencer Quinn keeps them coming!

I'm so glad to have popped in here and see there is another book after A Dog's Purpose!! I LOVED it, and going to amazon right now to order a Dog's Journey. Thanks!

I loved this book! It's a tearjerker for sure. But it was a very gratifying book to read. It's my favorite so far.

I read both A Dog's Purpose and a Dog's Journey. I loved both but liked A Dog's Purpose a bit more. very touching stories. i read one of the Chet and Bernie stories as well{ to Fetch a thief}

I had just lost a beloved dog when I read this book.
The story just broke my heart...the ending..oh, my. That being said, I am so glad that I read it.

I LOVED THIS BOOK. but it kept me crying for weeks. <3 if your a dog lover its a must read <3

I also picked up this book after Abbey's passing (picture). It's a bit far-fetched, but it does contain some insights into a dog's life and its feelings.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I loved every phase of it!

Cherie, our family dog had recently passed away at the time when I read this, so it turned into an emotional roller-coaster. It is a lovely and heart wrenching/warming story.

I absolutely loved this book. At first I thought it was going to be a bit of a downer but was I wrong. Such a heart-warming story of not only what we give to dogs but what dogs give to us. Without a word, they enter our hearts and they never leave. I went through a "dog" book phase and also read one of the Chet and Bernie mysteries, "Dog On It", "Art of Racing in the Rain" and "Emily and Einstein". I recommend them all.

I suggested this to a friend of mine because it is such an awesome book but she said she cried every time he passed. I didn't mention A DOG'S JOURNEY. I sent her on to Chet & Bernie.

This is wonderful, fun, and enjoyable. There is a follow up called Journey that is also getting great reviews. If you do like this book, I encourage you to also consider reading Spencer Quinn's Chet and Bernie Mysteries.

Happy Reading!

i loved this book. it made me cry, and laugh. i recomend this book to all those that love dogs.
