I'm Tammy, VERY new to the group, so I hope it's okay to jump right in....I was so excited to find this group and after exploring your bookshelf and not seeing Richard Wagamese as one of the authors you've read yet (although I've been known to look at something and not see it, so I apologize if I've missed it), I'd like to introduce you to one of my very favourite authors - I'd love to nominate
- one of his older books....I just recently saw a college student reading this book on the bus and had to discuss it with her - she said she was reading it as part of her Canadian literature studies ! I was so happy to hear that ! I've read it already, but at the thought of having the chance to discuss with others, I'd be only too happy to read it again....
Hi Tammy,I was going to ask if you've read Indian Horse but then reasoned you probably had. That book was my introduction to Richard Wagamese's writing and what a powerful intro! I'd happily read another by him.

oh, yes, I loved Indian Horse ! And I understand movie rights have been picked up for that one !
It's great that you're jumping right in, Tammy! You're right, I've not read anything by Richard Wagamese.
