I have finally read all of the Will Trent books by Karin Slaughter. :( But now I'm reading DREAM LAKE by Lisa Kleypas! Loving it so far.

Irisheyes | 896 comments Have been stuck on Virginia Kantra's e-book re-releases. I am really enjoying them. Looks like I found another autobuy author! I made the mistake of also reading her new release, CAROLINA HOME. Loved it! Now, I have to wait a whole year for the next one in the series - I'm really bummed out about that. :)

Susan (susaninaz) | 1075 comments I recently read Julianne Maclean's Married by Midnight (excellent) and Katy Madison's poorly titled All About Seduction. I'm still breathless about how great AAS is. Honestly, get this if you don't already have it.

Correction, White Horse is not a YA.

I am going to start the YA novel Starcrossed by Josephine Angelini and I am finishing up Rachel Gibson's Tangled Up In You.

Theresa Romain | 420 comments Just finished Sorcery and Cecelia, or The Enchanted Chocolate Pot--I saw it in the recent Dear Author deals and thought it sounded good. Loved it! A Regency novel in letters, with just a light touch of magic. Has anyone read either of the two sequels?

Theresa, I'm a Patricia Wrede fan. I've read almost everything she's written. I recommended the Enchanted Forest Chronicles to someone just yesterday. I cheered to see it on the NPR Teen Favorites list last week.

I think Sorcery and Cecilia is the best of the Kate and Cecy trilogy, not that the others aren't delightful. They are. But for me it's the difference between a 5 and a 4.5/4 read. The Grand Tour has Paris and Wellington and Italy and lots of history, and it is fun. But since Kate and Cecy and their new husbands are on their honeymoon journey, #2 has less romance--and I miss the letters. The Mislaid Magician is set later--late 1820s, I think. This one does have letters, from the husbands as well as from Kate and Cecy. Our heroines are in their late 20s with children, and so it's happy families rather than romance. But the scope is broader, and the enchanted dog is memorable. I love them all.

I'm reading Kate Moore's Blackstone's Bride. She's one of my favorite writers. And I have an eARC of Robyn Carr's new Virgin River Christmas book. I can't resist that one.

Irish, I bought the Kantra reissues too, although I don;y know when I'll find time to reread them. I'll probably wait until Mad Dog and annie is available too. It's my favorite.

Irisheyes | 896 comments After reading Conn and Val's story I'm really anxious for MAD DOG AND ANNIE, Janga. I may browse my UBS and see if I can pick it up before they release it as an ebook!

I didn't know Kate Moore had a new one out. I'll have to check that out.

Theresa Romain | 420 comments Janga, thanks for letting me know what you think about the other Kate and Cecy books! Sounds like they are well worth tracking down.

Just started reading AS YOU WISH, a contemporary romance by our very own Elyssa Patrick--she'll be self-pubbing it in a few weeks. It's really lovely.

Elyssa, I really enjoyed Blood Bound. I saw Pushing The Limits on BN and thought about getting for my nook. Let me know what you think about that one.

Susan (susaninaz) | 1075 comments Okay, no one was interested in my swoon over All About Seduction. So I went onto the Once Upon a Ballroom anthology, the Brenda Novak novella When We Touch and the new Jill Shalvis Forever and a Day. All terrific. I still think the Katy Madison one was best, though.

Mrs.ColinBridgerton | 62 comments Just finished Dream Lake and was very happy with it. I had been looking forward to it for a while so it was a nice treat.
Now I am patiently waiting for The Ugly Duchess since it came so highly reccomended from you ladies ;-)
