well, I just realized that I don't have an introduction section...nearly all groups do, so I figured I should add one!

I'm kirby, and I started this group b/c I love these books! I'd like to re-read the entire series soon.

I'd also like to thank all of y'all for joining! make yourselves at home, make any folders/topics that you feel like, and if you'd like to be a moderator just let me know!

Debra | 1 comments Hi my name is Debra and I just discovered goodreads and this group. I had never heard of Karin Slughter until I was shopping a local retail store and when you make a purchase you get a free book. Well my free book was one of the early Grant County books - i think it was Faithless- but I read that and was instantley hooked. I had to start from the beginning and read them all. The characters are awesome, Lena Adams-wow! and the plots-that is some sick and disturbing stuff-which is exactly why I love it. I just finished Criminal and cannot wait for her next one. And the killer, OMG, that was some sick torture. While I wait for more of her books to come out, I'm always looking for another author who is similer in style. A couple I like are:Tami Hoag, Chealsea Cain, Lisa Gardner, and Harlan Coben (he is great!). Anyway, that's my story. Thanks!

Phyllis (phyllisbrannin) Welcome!
I agree, I love Will Trent. One of my all time favorite characters. I think him and Sara fit together perfectly.

Debbie | 2 comments I read through both series by Karin Slaughter very quickly. They are addicting. Just finished Unseen and can't wait for another. I'm sure that will be a while though, so need some recommendations for other reading in the meantime. Going to check out J.T. Ellison and others mentioned right now. Please make more suggestions.

message 10: by Phyllis (new)

Phyllis (phyllisbrannin) Debbie, Lisa Gardner would be my choice. I think her writing is very similar to Karin Slaughter. I think you would enjoy her. Also might want to try Erica Spindler, Wendy Corsi Staub or Catherine Coulter. JT Ellison is also a good choice.

Heather Shuemaker | 1 comments Hello everyone! I'm new to goodreads and to this group, so I thought I'd post a brief introduction. I'm a 29 year-old Floridian who (obviously) loves to read :-) My favorite authors are David Baldacci, Lisa Gardner, James Rollins, Greg Iles, and of course Karin Slaughter. I'm currently re-reading some of the Will Trent series to refresh my memory before I purchase Unseen. So excited to read the new book! Anyways, hope y'all are having a great day! :-)
