LOL, don't worry too much about it, just know that those top numbers are a reference for me only to indicate team progress. It doesn't affect the way most of you play the game, though it might be something the captains will look at and want to encourage or contact certain members who are lagging.
I did see your review, and have made a request on your team thread for your next review.
BTW, love the ideas of the smileys :-)

Thanks ShoSho. I keep forgetting I've changed it, I've gotten used to looking for the teal colour on the old avatar, lol.
Week 3's song is Now PlayingJust a note for the coming weeks:
Because we have now had two songs from the 1970's played, the rest of the songs from that decade will now be taken OFF the playlist for this game. They may come back in future rounds, but for now it will mean that possible songs will now be taken from the 60's, 80s, 90s and first decade to 2010. This narrows your song/book choices, but it may also make it easier for you all to plan ahead.
I also wanted to say a big THANK YOU to everyone for making my life easier this week insofar as making your book-review posts stand out on the team threads. Captains, I'm loving how you're setting out your progress reports. Don't forget, if anyone has any questions or issues, just let me know! Also, individual progress is still being tracked here
For Bridge over Troubled Waters, since Simon & Garfunkel are a duo would a book with two authors be OK? I'm thinking of Sorcery and Cecelia, or The Enchanted Chocolate Pot, which has two co-authors.
You're not bugging me, I completely get that you want to get your reading list sorted.
would be fine also. That looks like quite a dark one, but provocative.
I looked and didn't see: what's the page ruling on books that are only in ebook format?I have this to read for a paperbackswap challenge and it has a bridge on the cover. But it's never been released in print. It's 152 pages in ebook format.
Mary, I found several items on the Internet that say 200 location numbers on a Kindle are equivalent to 10 - 11 pages. When no hardback or paperback editions are available for reverence, I covert with the lower number.
I already know it's the equivalent of 152 pages .I just want to know if it counts for this since there's no print edition to compare it to.
Mary wrote: "I already know it's the equivalent of 152 pages .I just want to know if it counts for this since there's no print edition to compare it to."Mary, It's taken me a little while to come to a decision with regards to this. The reason is, being an ebook lover myself, I've come across more and more ebooks recently where the last 10+ pages of the book are actually excerpts and promos for other releases from the publishing company... Not having this ebook myself to see if that was the case here, I've been trying to see if Amazon or BooksOnBoard might have had a different number for the page equivalent, but couldn't find it on any other website. Even Cobblestone Press seems to be having issues with the book link. I wasn't trying to be difficult, just fair to everyone else who might be reading longer books... having said all that, I've gone over all the reviews on the first page of the Goodreads Synopsis, and no-one has shelved it as a short story / novella, and there were no complaints about the book length from the reviews.
Long story short - no problems validating this book for this week's song link! Enjoy! Sounds like a good one :-)
Great because I'm almost finished. It is good. If a large chunk of the end of the book turns out to book ads and excerpts than I'll pick something else.

This may have already been asked and answered and I missed/can't find it LOL but on the individual progress report what does the check mark, heart and star mean. And why are some people's in a different order where everyone else's are in the same order?

lmbo duhhhhhhhh....I'm such a dork sometimes LOLOLOLOL I didn't think to scroll to the right and look for a key ☺☺☺Thanks LK!!!
Sorry Robin, I'm on a laptop and so the key shows up well within the screen range. Didn't even think that would be a problem. Lisa Kay, as ever, you're a groovin' legend and I thank you for your help!
I don't mean to be a nudge...but our card hasn't been updated...and I know it is wrong at this point :( I am sure you are busy with lots of other things....
Catherine, which card are you talking about? I see cards for KNOCKIN' ON SEVEN'S DOOR here under ...On The DanceFloor and here under your thread with two dancers "groovified".
I'm so sorry ladies, I've had an unexpectedly hectic weekend so far. I'll get everything up to date now. My sincere apologies Catherine!
hey there....quick question...are there prizes(1st, 2nd, 3rd)? like what does each team get accordingly? or are we just doing it for the insanity!?!?!? lol
I'm thinking the winning team might get a cool banner with their names on it. But mostly bragging rights!
To Everyone: I went to the eye doctor this morning. As I suspected my eye sight has decreased even more. BUT when I asked if all my reading was hurting it he said 'No, keep it up...it's good exercise for mey eyes'...Yeah I get to keep reading...:-)
